Course Content
This course is a practical courses which is run over a period of one year. This course helps the student to learn by completing a number of project and assignment work.
This courses consists of 6 units which give a good overview of possible computing career paths. The units consit of Using IT,user support,Information Systems,Databases,Application Software and also Financial modelling.
The BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to 4 GCSE grade C passes when the course is complete.

IT Practitioners BTEC National Diploma
Course Content
This course is a practical course, which runs over a two year period.
The course units include: Computer Programming, Multimedia, Expert Systems, Systems Analysis, Database, Web Design, E-commerce and Operating Systems.
The BTEC National Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-Levels once the course is completed.
To join the course the Students will require 4 GCSEs at Grades C or equivalent IT qualification. Good literacy and numeracy skills they should also show an interest in computers.
